No. Your employer cannot use SafePorter's reporting to open your individual answer or connect it to you. It receives group results and insights. SafePorter withholds results when too few people contribute and suppresses details that could identify someone.
This page applies to protected surveys completed through MyDataProtected. The same explanation applies when the organization inviting you is a membership body, university or another organization rather than an employer.
It can see what participants collectively report, where the results can be shown safely. It cannot read your individual answers or open your written comment in its dashboard.
The purpose is to help the organization understand the group without giving it a response record about each person.
Written feedback contributes to group insights. Your employer receives those protected insights, rather than a list of individual comments.
SafePorter suppresses revealing detail as well as protecting small groups. A unique event or a recognizable role can identify someone even without a name, so the information in an insight matters too.
Free-text questions are not used in demographic surveys.
Your organization does not send its respondent roster to SafePorter. It sends your invitation from its own systems, and you enter MyDataProtected with an organization key and SafePorter ID rather than a name or email address.
Please leave names and contact details out of written answers, including other people's. The survey receives the information you choose to type, even though identifying details must not appear in the organization's results.
SafePorter withholds a result when too few people support it. It also suppresses specific information that could reveal someone in a larger group.
A result can therefore be absent even when people answered the question. Withholding it protects the people who contributed.
Yes. You can leave a question unanswered.
While your SafePorter ID is active, you can return to MyDataProtected to change your answers or delete your data. You do not need your employer to edit an answer for you. Published reporting follows the disclosure controls rather than exposing each person's change as it happens.
Use a direct support or reporting channel where someone can follow up with you. Protected group feedback does not tell the organization who needs help with a particular issue.
SafePorter's controls govern what the platform discloses. They cannot prevent someone from sharing their own answer elsewhere, and no survey can guarantee how an organization treats people outside the platform.
