SafePorter builds DataProtected, a suite of privacy-by-design tools for organizational feedback and demographic insight. Its protected surveys give organizations group results and insights without access to individual responses. SafePorter was founded in 2018 by Shoshana Rosenberg.
An organization can need information from people who have good reasons to keep that information private. Employees may want to describe a problem without becoming the subject of it. A participant may want to be counted in a demographic result without giving the organization their personal answers.
SafePorter exists to serve both needs: useful organizational knowledge and protection of the person providing it.
In the protected survey workflow, the organization keeps its respondent roster, SafePorter processes responses separately, and the organization receives protected aggregate information. Written feedback contributes to group insights, with identifying detail suppressed. Demographic surveys exclude free text.

Her work examines how organizations understand and respond to the effects of AI. SafePorter addresses a related practical need: giving people a protected way to contribute information that can inform organizational decisions.
In 2023, SafePorter Secure Limited received the ESG Privacy Initiative award at the PICCASO Privacy Awards Europe.
The privacy and trust page explains who receives which information. The respondent page addresses the questions people need answered before they take part.
SafePorter LLC's privacy notice identifies the business and explains how data handling differs across survey participation, account administration and other relationships.
